Emma graduated from Bristol College of Dancing in 2000 and quickly went on to perform in theatres all over the country as both a dancer and singer. Credits include the Number Ones Show UK tour, Spellbound UK tour and Qdos pantomime Cinderella. She later co-created and was part of Euphoria Show Choir, who performed internationally to critical acclaim. Emma’s teaching experience spans almost 20 years and she has gained teaching qualifications with the prestigious ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing).
In 2012 Emma was inspired by the Olympic Games in London and felt that the world of Gymnastics could benefit from her dance expertise. Emma relished the challenge of creating unique floor routines and her ability to explore each individual’s personal style has resulted in an improvement in the musicality and expression within each creation, this is when her work with The Academy first started. Her choreography has already helped to achieve medal placings for elite gymnasts on the International Stage.
Emma is excited to be continuing her partnership with The Academy and teach in the newly fitted dance studio. She will be teaching the following class; Musical Theatre and Creative Ballet.
